Thanks for stopping by. I don't spend much time here anymore. If you want to get up to speed with me, come to my "myspace" page. See you there. Saturday, April 2
Hello?.... Does anybody still blog here? A better question would be does anybody care to read if anybody does blog here. Maybe I'll start blogging again and see. Monday, August 16
lessons learned... the hard way!
okay, now for the 12:26 edit: I just got in the crib after Jason almost set me straight. He had to get assist from the dreadlocked Tre to close the deal on the re-install. Alls well that ends well. Alls I know is that nobody was leaving until my whip was done. I was almost on empty when I pulled into the install bay, when I left and was on a dark and lonely county road trying to get gas, my gas door would not open. Thankfully an off duty security guard stopped and gave assist. Problem solved and fixed. Last but certainly not least, I have to give big props out to my mans Goodbread aka William Stylze for getting his geek on and publishing his first blog. Check him out at http://datnikkabobkrane.blogspot.com/ Sunday, August 15
well well well...Look who decided to show his stankin ass back up on the set. That's right. I'm back as if I never ever left ya. And you're probably thinking I should give you the run down on what's been crackin since I last posted in February right? ROTFLMBAO!!!! Yall some funny cats. But no on the real, I did get married in February with a really nice shotgun style shindig hosted at my bro-in-laws crib. Thanks Bruce! Wifey and I found a place although the hunt for a house of our own didnt pan out. We went from discouragement to utter angry at the market. It's truly dog eat dog. And for one of these cracker jack box ass houses, we'll pass. We had other things to focus on. I ran into one of my readers/friends the other day and was drilled about when I would update. Apparently some of you are tired of reading my old post. Oh kay... let the fun begin! Sunday, February 1
life is hard...Wow, I know it’s been a long time since I sat down here with the old lap top and laid it out for you, but there’s been lot going on to have my head spinning. That’s probably more reason for me to jot down my feelings, but oh well. Where should I start? I’ll go back to right before the years first big storm in Baltimore. Well actually right before the storm. I caught a real nasty “bug” or “virus” that was going around. Everyone kept asking if I had a gotten a flu shot. But this particular strain was proving to be unaffected by the vaccines that were being distributed anyway. I truly didn’t want to succumb to it, but as I felt it coming on over the weekend, I was getting weaker and weaker. Finally that Tuesday morning, I almost fell getting out of the shower I was so weak. I had to get my bed rest on. Well, that took me out of the game for a few days and I may have prematurely stepped back in to the arena, but I was sick of being sick. What was going on next? The terrible storm that has plagued the state with snow, ice and frigid temperatures is what. I think all of that made me somewhat depressed and that’s another reason I wasn’t getting my blog on. While trying to cope with all of this, our family was dealt a rough blow. My cousin in-law Joi’s mother was found murdered last Sunday. On top of that, her younger brogther had his throat slit apparently to silence him. Fortunately, he’s recovering. Right after that, I was getting ready for work on Wednesday morning to hear on channel 2 news that my good friend Tracey had been murdered. It was awful the way his fiancé described it. According to her, someone knocked on their door informing Tracey that his car had been hit. When Tracey came outside to investigate, he was shot at close range three times. The perpetrator then stood overtop of Tracey and continued to shoot him. That’s sick. I really miss Tracey already and I hate that his life had to be taken away in such a senseless manner. My prayers go out to his family. Oh yeah, we’ve been scouring the internet and physically searching street by street for a new house when not going out with our realtor for showings. We haven’t found that “this is the one” house yet, but I’m keeping hope alive. I don’t want to jinx it, but we did take an early look at something this weekend and hopefully we can set up a showing as soon as the owners are ready. I have a good feeling about this one. live? from my sick bedMannn, I thought I may have felt it late Saturday, Sunday I was almost sure, and Monday there was no denying it. I'm sick. It hit me so bad this morning, that I had to call out and stayed in the bed all day. I was going to troop it out and go to work anyway, but when I got out the shower I was so weak I had to throw in the towel. Now this next part may be a little disgusting, but hey this is how I feel. If you are really squimish, STOP READING NOW!!! I have never tasted urine (knock on wood), but if I had to guess what it taste like my best description would be cherry flavored Theraflu. This crap is the worst stuff I have ever tasted in my life. The only reason I think I'm going to drink some more is because I've been sleep for almost the whole day and I feel really spry right now. It's almost eleven bells and I need to go to sleep. If I drink some of that pissy Theraflu, it will straight knock me out for the rest of the night. Oh well, bottoms up. last Friday: Jan 2Friday morning while on my way to work, I was listening to the local morning show. This is one of the few times I can put up with the radio because I guess it's less music and more talk. The stand in DJ for the usual suspects was complaining about his truck being towed away that very morning. He couldn't understand why the city was enforcing the parking laws so stringently on the day after New Year's. Local weather/traffic/funny man Bruce Mane had his opportunity to chime in and really went off on a tangent. I feared for the meter officers if they happened across this would be mad man on a bad day. Well I said all that to say, since I found a park right outside the front door of my office in a metered spot, I made sure that I took note of my time and had change. I was working so hard (that's how I do) that I put myself in a tricky situation. I really had to shake the lizard, but I had also waited until the last "technical" minute to pay the meter. What to do what to do. Well I decided to man-up and hit the head after paying my fare. This was one of my better decisions of the day as I got to the front door to see to meter officers enforcing the law of the land on a vehicle parked directly behind my sexy beast. I couldn't wait for the automatic door to finish opening as I forced it open and ran over to the meter (so to speak) to make it in the nick of time. Yeah, that's right (puff daddy voice). |
